Free Bluebeam Tool Sets

A collection of free Bluebeam Revu tools: markup symbols, annotation sets, line styles, hatch patterns, and profiles.

Free stuff is great! And these free Bluebeam tools are no different. I put together a package (markup symbols, annotation sets, line styles, hatch patterns, and profiles) that you can use to markup your drawings quickly and easily. Add your email below and I'll send you the download link right away.

Markup Tools

First, you need some basic tools to markup drawings. These come in both imperial and metric, with a series of text sizes, dimensions, checks, Xs, and arrows. Of course, you need both red and black so we include them even though this graphic only shows red.

Annotation Symbols

Next are the typical architectural annotations, which also come in both red and black. These are great for adding elevation keys, section cut keys, column bubbles, and a number of different keynote shapes.

Line Styles

The line styles included with Bluebeam are fairly limited, so I'm including 31 line styles. Most architects use line styles to identify rated walls so these line styles come in handy when you need to mark up life safety plans.

Hatch Patterns

There are a number of hatch patterns that architects use regularly, especially for elevation or section drawings. Included in the package are brick and block patterns for elevations, a concrete section hatch, and various wood hatches for both section and elevations.

Profiles

Finally, there are two customized profiles based off the Revu Advanced profile - one for metric and the other for imperial. Import these after you install all the other tools and they will move your tool sets to the top of the left panel. These profiles also load a few helpful toolbar items that aren't on by default, like the Align Center buttons and the Reuse Markup Tools option.
